Robert (Rob) Houpels (Courtrai, 1877-Velle, 1943)

Robert was a post-impressionist landscape and marine painter.
Exhibited in Courtrai in 1911 at the ‘Exposition de tableaux’ organized by the Society for Fine Arts. 

After living in Uccle and Woluwe St Pierre, the artist settled in Lasne in 1935.
