Cornelis Marie Twaalfhoven, born and baptized in Bodegraven 8/9 Feb. 1916, died in Utrecht 17 Feb. 1996. Cornelis was a teacher, scientific medical employee in orthopedics and also a visual artist. Cornelis married Rina Wilhelmina Berendina le Cointre in Bodegraven on 12 Nov. 1945, born in The Hague on 1 Dec. 1923, daughter of Jan Cornelis le Cointre and Catharina Maria Snoep. Cornelis left for Oudenbosch (N.B.), Boarding school St.Louis, on 29 Aug. 1930 for his education. Before the Second World War he worked as a teacher. He later stopped teaching and became a painter. Later combining painting with teaching at the PABO in Arnhem and Nijmegen and as a scientific employee at the orthopedagogical department of the University of Nijmegen.
